PLAY CREATIVE TV is an award-winning, full service entertainment marketing agency based in Hollywood.
PLAY produces dynamic on-air promotion for television networks and studios specializing in the creation of season launch campaigns for new and returning shows. We also build unique branding pieces, compelling weekly episodic promos, sizzle reels of all kinds, and specialty projects including upfront presentations.
Nestled in the heart of Hollywood, our highly experienced team of producers, writers, editors and designers craft your project from start to finish. Our 5,000 square foot facility houses seven HD Avid bays, 2D and 3D graphic design capabilities and a Pro Tools audio suite for your HD finishing and digital delivery so you never have to think twice about how it’s going to get done.
WHAT WE’VE DONE
Since 2005, PLAY CREATIVE TV has launched over 100 network shows, as well as created a bazillion episodic promos, sizzle reels and specialty pieces.
Collaborating with Syfy on the launch campaign for its hit series, “Defiance” – PLAY’s variety of promos captured the attention of 2.6 million viewers contributing to the premiere’s astounding success. In fact, we’ve played a leading role in much of Syfy’s branding efforts with our unexpected and engaging promotional campaigns for some of their biggest shows – including “Being Human,” “Face Off,” “Warehouse 13,” “Alphas,” and the incredibly popular franchise, “Ghost Hunters.”
Team PLAY wrote, directed, and produced In-Cinema spots for Lifetime’s “Liz & Dick” starring Lindsay Lohan, which generated an almost criminal 1.3 share to become one of the most watched original TV movies of 2012.
We revved up viewer interest with integrated co-branded spots for Lexus and “Project Runway,” directed and produced a retail campaign for Proctor & Gamble, generated some insanely successful specialty events like “Call Me Crazy” for Lifetime, and we let our imagination run wild for Syfy’s transformation series “Face Off.”
When “Weeds” launched on the TV Guide Channel, we fired up the ratings. PLAY again hit the bull’s eye with Warner Brother’s “Arrow,” and knocked out a huge victory for FX’s “The Ultimate Fighter.” We’ve also helped viewers imagine life “Married To A Jonas,” and did a great job of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” on E!
Along the way we’ve worked with some of Hollywood’s greatest talent. PLAY hit some high notes with Academy Award-winning actors Jennifer Hudson and Octavia Spencer, and shined a spotlight on famed Oscar-winning director William Friedkin (“The French Connection” and “The Exorcist”). We put our skills to the test with the phenomenal “Mythbusters” crew. We’ve done time with notables like Lindsay Lohan and the brilliant Jewel, and captured the passion of show-runner Marc Cherry and the cast of “Devious Maids.”
